About Us

How It All Began

As part of  the Spencer Lions Club service project Santa would visit the Owen County Courthouse for picture with children and crafts.  In 2009 the serve project was expanded to include  a simple Christmas Parade and Lighting Ceremony for the Courthouse Dome.  In 2013, we are growing to include an all day event called Christmas at the Square.

Christmas at the Square is a hometown Christmas festival located at the Owen County Courthouse Square. Area organizations, businesses, and individuals come together to for our community and guest of our community.  The holidays are a heartwarming time of year and how better to celebrate than with family, friends, and community.
